We provide expertization services for collectors and dealers alike, the terms of which are specified below. |

Classic stamps and covers from any countries accepted, prior inquiries are suggested. |

You can expect: (a) a detailed description of the stamp or cover, (b) a colour reproduction to accompany the certificate, (c) a clear statement regarding the condition or quality of the item, (d) a clear statement regarding the authenticity of the item. In all cases where a certificate is not issued, or opinion is declined, there will be no charge for the service, except for return postage. Charges for stamps are 3.75 % of catalogue value, with a minimum fee of US $29.00. The fee for stamps and covers that are found to be counterfeit is a minimum of US $29.00 to $37.50 respectively. There is a US $8.50 supplement for certification of (1) covers, (2) stamps with overprints and surcharges, and (3) stamps and covers where value depends mostly on the authenticity of one or more postmarks (i.e. 20¢ mint, $200.00 used). Higher charges may be expected for very high value items and items requiring extensive plating work. Please inquire. There is a US $10.00 surcharge for individual submissions. Save this charge by sending 2 or more items each time, which will also save you 2-way postage. Mail your items to us by a secure method, such as registered mail, and with additional insurance, provided through your post office or insurance company. Our fees do not include insurance, but we can try to purchase this on your behalf, for the return. For return mailing please note that the U.S. Post Office's rates increased considerably in May of 2008. The normal postage and registration within the United States is a minimum of $13.50, due to the packaging of the stamps or covers and the certificates. For Registration with $1,000.00 insurance within the United States, the cost is $17.35. There is a cost of $1.35 per additional thousand. Registered mail to foreign destinations is a little more. If you live outside the U.S. and need insurance for the return of your material, let us know and we will try to arrange coverage. Payment is required in advance. For your convenience, we accept Visa and Mastercard. Submission of items for Certification implies acceptance of the terms of business mentioned in the above paragraphs.
