from Bamberg, January 9th of 1920. The five high values of King Ludwig
III, perforated, used, have a Michel 2009 catalogue value of Euro
835.00, which is about US$ 1,235.00. This is absolutely the best way to
obtain these stamps if one wishes to have genuine cancellations. |

and one half schilling black on yellow paper, complete pane of 100
stamps, including four tete-beche pairs. Large margins, incredible
freshness, full original gum and never hinged. Certificate by Dr.
Christian Mozek, stating that it is a "Very Rare piece, only a few
pieces exist." Michel 2009 catalogue value is Euro 5,880.00, or
about US$ 8,575.00. A splendid item of the first issue of Bergedorf.

4/4 Schilling red, Emblem of Mecklenburg, rouletted 11.50. A Very Fine
mint block of four, with Original Gum, well-centered, with fresh colour,
and entirely without faults. Signed Fulpius, Alberto Diena, and Enzo
Diena, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Dr. Enzo
Diena, that states the stamp is genuine, has original gum, and is in
perfect condition. Its provenance is the Tomassini collection. (lot 1714
of the Kruschel auction of April 1982). The 2008 michel catalogue value
is Euro 3,400 , which is about US$ 4,500.00. |
