145201 cvr Scott #20. Medio Real lilac, GUANAJUATO 215 1865. A superb single with large margins tied to a folded letter by "GUANAJUATO/FRANCO" c.d.s. and addressed to Tampico. A Very Fine and Rare cover paying a printed matter rate. $1,125.00

145600 cvr Scott #57, 62. One Hundred centavos perforated "PUEBLA 4 68", and 50 centavos imperforated "PUEBLA 4 70", both tied by indistinct datestamp to a very fine folded letter sent from Puebla to Guadalajara. A Very Scarce franking. $ 950.00
145660 cvr Scott #59, 66, 68. Twelve centavos perforated "MEXICO 1 70", twelve centavos imperforated "GUADALAJARA 41 70" and 25 centavos perforated "HUEHUTLA 83 70", all tied by datestamps to a cover addressed to Durango. Three mixed districts and two mixed issues. A rare item, very difficult to replicate, in fine condition. $ 950.00
145680 PF Scott #61. Hidalgo imperforated 25 centavos blue on pink paper. Three examples each with very fine margins, tied by MEXICO c.d.s. to a very fine cover addressed to Durango. The first stamp on the left has MAZATLAN district overprint and the other two have OAXACA district overprints. Superb example of the TIPO postal fraud. $ 675.00
145741 cvr Scott #69, 61. Hidalgo imperforated 25 centavos blue with PUEBLA district overprint and 50 centavos black on Straw Yellow perforated Hidalgo, both tied by MEXICO c.d.s. to a neat folded letter addressed to Mazatlan. Mixed franking of perforated and imperforated stamps, and mixed districts, PUEBLA used in MEXICO. Very fine and rare cover. $ 500.00
ISSUES of 1872-1873. "HIDALGO SIDEFACE"
x 145910 cvr Scott #96, 94. Fifty and 12 centavos imperforated, "DURANGO 15 72". Both tied to a cover by "DURANGO/FRANCO" c.d.s., addressed to Mazatlan. The cover has been reinforced, still a very scarce franking with very fine stamps. $ 700.00
145930 cvr Scott #96a. Hidalgo 50 centavos orange overprinted "MORELIA 31 72". (During 1872 Morelia, which has numeral 29, received by mistake a number of 50 centavos stamps overprinted 31 72, which number belongs to Orizava.) The stamp, which has huge margins, is tied by a "FRANCO/MORELIA" c.d.s. to a very fine folded letter addressed to Mexico. On reverse is a dated Mexico arrival stamp. Superb and Very Rare, Ex-Schatzkes collection. $ 1,150.00
145960 cvr Scott #101, 104. Hidalgo 25 centavos carmine and 100 centavos grey, both perforated, "MEXICO 1 73", tied by a c.d.s. to a very fine folded letter sent from Mexico City to Guadalajara. A Very Scarce franking in excellent condition. $ 850.00

AIRMAIL STAMPS
146204 ct Scott #C3. Scott #C3. Seven proofs and colour trials for the 25 centavos air mail definitive of 1928. Two imperforated with green and olive-green frame, and five perforated and gummed colour trials. All signed Kessler or Sanabria. Few perforation faults on two stamps, still Very Fine, and very scarce. $1,450.00
146350 cvr Scott #C93A. A registered envelope addressed to New York, flown by Sarabia, with appropriate cachet at left, 20 cntavos air mail stamp and 20 centavos special issue blue and red with inscription "SARABIA VUELO MEXICO-NUEVA YORK." Scarce flight cover in fine condition, from a maximum of 400. Signed by Theodore Champion, Paris. $675.00
