Passed Military Censor at Minsk. Circulation of such propaganda among soldiers at the front contributed to mass desertion, collapse of the Russian war effort and to the revolution in the Autumn of 1917. Despatched about two months after the Revolution and a month before the formation of the Red Army, this item illustrates the enactment of "Order Number One" of the Petrograd Soviet, which provided for the election of Soldier's Committees with powers to assume command and even override the orders of the Government.
