"1938 PRO AEREO 75" centimes surcharge on 50 centimes vermilion and grey, overprinted "Specimen" in red for the Universal Postal Union, and further handstamped "SPECIMEN" in green by the Portuguese Postal Administration for their Colonial Archives, as it was received from the Universal Postal Union Headquarters at Berne. The stamp was subsequently sent to Mozambique where it became part of the reference collection. This stamp has full original gum and is unmounted mint. An extraordinary unique item. 199390 Scott #O29-O36. Set of eight high value definitives from 60 centimes to 2 Francs overprinted "Officiel" and further handstamped "AMOSTRA" in green. The handstamps were applied by a Portuguese-African Postal Administration as these items were recived from the Universal Postal Union Headquarters at Berne for inclusion in the Colonial Postal Archives. The stamps have only traces remaining of the original gum due to the fact that they were affixed to an archival book. Fine and Unique Set. Certificates by The Classic Collector. (8) 600.00

Five stamps of Switzerland overprinted for use by the International Labor Organization, further handstamped "Especimen" in blue-grey by the Portuguese Postal Administration as these items were received from the U.P.U. Headquarters at Berne. These stamps were sent on to Mozambique where they became part of the reference collection. The high values are without gum as they were affixed to pages in the archives.
